IFAT 2022 a success for Sesotec
Sesotec GmbH draws a positive balance after IFAT 2022, the world's leading trade fair for water, sewage, waste and raw materials management: the manufacturer of sorting systems is pleased about many interesting discussions and new contacts with customers from the recycling and waste management industry. At the exhibition stand in Hall B5 at Stand 415/514, the main topics were the new VARISORT+ FLEX sorting module and the K9+ glass sorter, which was exhibited by Sesotec partner company KRS Recycling Systems.
"It was visible for both visitors and exhibitors how important it is for us to exchange ideas at trade shows," says Michael Perl, Group Director Sorting Recycling. "We met many of our business partners and customers in person again and also made new contacts."
Innovations and core competencies in demand
This year, Sesotec focused on the topic of Circular Economy. Michael Perl: "The feedback we received confirmed that we are on the right track. Due to the current political and economic challenges, we are very well positioned with our innovations for plastics and glass recycling. But our core competencies in engineering across the entire technology chain of recyclables sorting are also in demand. We are specifically contacted as a competent partner when it comes to obtaining the service portfolio for the areas of detection, separation and sorting from a single source."
Helmut Killinger Jr, Managing Director of KRS Recycling Systems GmbH, added: "The new K9+ sorter for color and impurity separation in glass recycling, which was presented for the first time at IFAT 2022, was able to convince all along the line as the successor to our well-known K9 series. The high sorting precision combined with minimal glass breakage and easy cascadability for multiple sorting stages is unique in this field. As high efficiency and process stability in the sorting process are crucial for recycling companies when it comes to increasing profitability, our new K9+ sorter met with very great interest among visitors to our booth, as expected."
