With a successful event in its showroom in Dorsten, Sesotec marked the kickoff for a new event series on the topic of food safety on March 11, 2025. 22 participants from 12 companies seized the opportunity to exchange ideas on current challenges and solutions in the food industry.
The central topics of discussion at the event included:
- Food Safety
- PPWR (Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation)
- Hygienic Design
Special impetus was provided by the expert presentations from Tobias Gosewehr, Key Account Manager of the Wipak Group, who offered insights into the current developments in packaging regulation, and Jevgenijs Bolzinko of Eco Terra, who shared his experiences collaborating with Sesotec.
The consistently positive feedback from the participants – “Great insights”, “Exciting topics”, “Meaningful event”, “Great opportunity for networking” – underscores the added value of the event. Christoph Hänle, Sales Director DACH – Food at Sesotec, emphasized its relevance: "With our Food Safety Events, we aim to create a platform for open exchange on the central challenges of food safety. The high level of participation and the positive feedback show that we are hitting exactly the right nerve with this concept. We look forward to further expanding this format and providing even more companies with valuable insights."
Continuation of the event series planned
Due to the successful premiere, Sesotec will continue the event series. In June, a Food Safety Day is scheduled in Schönberg, followed by a Food Safety Event in October in Dorsten – this time with an Oktoberfest character. With the event series, Sesotec aims to establish a continuous platform for the exchange of current topics in food safety. Specialist presentations, best practices, and networking are intended to provide experts and companies with valuable insights.
