Sesotec GmbH is strengthening its collaboration with long-time distribution partner POPGRO in Hungary and Slovakia. The goal of this expanded partnership is to enhance our presence in both markets and provide more targeted support to customers in the plastics industry with our product inspection and sorting solutions. This intensified cooperation is part of Sesotec's international growth strategy, driven by the #NextLevelSesotec initiative, which focuses on continuously expanding global partnerships and market share.

POPGRO brings extensive expertise and years of sales experience in the plastics industry. As a regional contact, POPGRO will now support customers in selecting and implementing Sesotec solutions for foreign body detection, material analysis, and sorting. With POPGRO, we have gained a partner who shares our values and understands our mission. Together, we develop solutions that not only enhance quality and productivity but also lay the groundwork for achieving a true circular economy in the plastics industry, explains Joachim Schulz, CEO of Sesotec GmbH.

Portfolio expansion

POPGRO expands its product lineup with these Sesotec systems:

  • FLAKE SCAN – Analysis system for quality assessment of plastic flakes and regrind
  • Metal separators for free-fall applications, material columns, and pneumatic conveying lines
  • Tunnel and surface metal detectors for conveyors and chutes
  • Magnets for free-fall sections and standing material columns
  • RE-SORT – Unit for recovering separated materials
  • PRE-SORT – System for sorting and processing regrind

POPGRO is currently investing in expanding its Komárno location. A state-of-the-art showroom is planned, where customers can experience the full range of offerings firsthand—with a special focus on Sesotec equipment for metal detection and separation in the plastics industry.

Peter Pospíšil, owner of POPGRO, emphasizes: “Partnering with Sesotec is a logical step for us. Their systems represent quality, innovation, and reliability. Our customers will now benefit from an expanded range and direct access to cutting-edge technology for process optimization and circular economy. This is how we actively support the transition to a resource-efficient, sustainable plastics industry.”
