New building from Sesotec: One year after the groundbreaking, the shell construction stands.
Where in September 2023 a green field could still be seen, today the mighty shell construction of Sesotec GmbH's production and logistics hall is rising. The construction project, which began about a year ago at Innovationsring 1 in Schönberg, is progressing as planned and impresses with its rapid and efficient execution. Already now, it offers an imposing sight to everyone coming from Regen and driving on the B85 towards Passau, just before the Schönberg/Saunstein exit.
The work is precisely on schedule. Thanks to the reliable and meticulous performance of all the teams involved, the shell construction is nearly finished, and the next milestone is imminent: Soon the topping-out ceremony can be celebrated. This will then also mark the beginning of the completion phase.
With this new building, Sesotec not only creates the most modern working conditions for its employees, but also sends a strong message of growth and innovation in the region. The new plant and the buildings at Regener Straße 130 are the foundation for Sesotec’s expansion of its leading market position in the production of devices and systems for foreign object detection and material sorting.
The new production and logistics hall is being built according to the most modern ecological standards. Sesotec places a special emphasis on sustainability: for example, the energy requirements are met using geothermal and photovoltaic systems, and the building is largely constructed from recyclable materials. In addition, a water recovery system has been installed, which further enhances the building’s sustainability and significantly reduces water consumption. These measures underline the company’s commitment to environmental protection and, as the #NewLevelFactory, set standards in sustainable construction, particularly in the field of industrial construction.
Regarding the existing site at Regener Straße 130, there are already extensive modernization plans in place. In addition to the energy-efficient renovation of all buildings, the production areas for the Sorting Recycling division, among other things, will be redesigned according to Lean Management principles. This means that all employees will have state-of-the-art workplaces in the future.
