Sesotec Triumphs in 'Products of the Year 2026' Competition

The awards ceremony took place in a festive setting in Munich. Over 30 nominated solutions competed across various categories. Winners were chosen through a reader vote, evaluating innovation, technical benefits, and market relevance.

Sesotec is thrilled to announce that the PRE-SORT sorting platform has once again been recognized. After being named "Product of the Year" in 2025, it has secured its place among the industry's top innovations this year. PRE-SORT empowers recycling companies to efficiently separate material streams early on, enhancing the quality of subsequent sorting processes. "The fact that PRE-SORT has been awarded 'Product of the Year' for the second time highlights the significant demand for intelligent solutions in more efficient plastic processing," says Tobias Dillinger, Product Manager Plastics at Sesotec.

Securing 2nd place for the RAYCON D+ TX X-ray inspection system, Sesotec achieved notable recognition in the Image Processing and Sensor Technology category. Although RAYCON D+ TX is specifically designed for applications in the food industry, it stood out in a competition often dominated by technologies from the plastics and manufacturing industries. 

This award highlights the growing importance of modern inspection and quality assurance technologies. The system employs advanced X-ray technology and AI software features to reliably detect foreign bodies and enhance production stability. Sesotec Product Manager Food Thomas Hellgermann remarked at the award ceremony in Munich, “This accolade demonstrates that innovative inspection solutions can transcend industry boundaries and hold potential applications in the plastics sector.”
