A wide range of fresh and frozen pork and beef products, as well as meat preparations in various packaging options from 200 grams to six kilograms, demands cutting-edge metal detection technology. Inspection at the goods-out stage after packaging, where up to 130 tons of meat and meat preparations pass through daily, is essential.
The UNICON+ conveyor system from Sesotec, featuring the integrated INTUITY metal detector, ensures stability and hygiene while delivering top-notch metal detection performance and user-friendly operation. The multi-simultaneous frequency technology allows products from three different packaging lines to be inspected with the same metal detector. “The quick switching of different programs via external control of inventory management, due to the aforementioned three packaging lines, is a very important and useful feature for us,” says Florian Stadelmann, Operations Manager at Haspel Fleischmanufaktur.
The multi-simultaneous frequency technology operates with two frequencies ranging between 0 and 900 kilohertz, working in parallel. The selection of the two frequencies that best suit the product occurs during the learning process. Afterward, INTUITY inspects using these two frequencies simultaneously to achieve optimal metal detection results.
The customer's goal is to examine a wide variety of meat products and packaging sizes with the highest sensitivities. Although Sesotec devices are already in use, trials with devices from various manufacturers were conducted to compare the performance of the new multi-simultaneous frequency technology. INTUITY from Sesotec impressed with its highest detection accuracy and very user-friendly operation.
