Our reference customer's journey dates back to the early 17th century. Despite complete destruction during the war years, their rapid ascent in the 1930s didn't deter them from pursuing their dream.

What started as a small bakery has now evolved into a mid-sized family business, producing a variety of pasta shapes, sauces, and ready-made products. In their over 20,000 m² industrial facility, approximately 150 employees work to create flawless products, adhering to the highest technical and hygiene standards.

At this company just outside Munich, there was a need for a metal detector focused solely on detection.

Bernbacher's inquiry arrived via email, already outlining key considerations. Quality assurance was paramount. According to the customer's description, the device was to be used to "assist" at the end of a production line during pasta packaging. Additionally, the desired sensitivity levels were specified, serving as motivation for the upcoming in-house testing series.

Pasta noodles were tested in free fall through a P-SCAN RS 170 metal detector. For this application, the enclosed metal detector from the P-SCAN series was the perfect solution. This device seamlessly adapts to customer-specific requirements and can be integrated into almost all standard pipelines.

Only a few test runs were needed because clear results were achieved right from the start. The desired touch sensitivities exceeded customer expectations by far, and the sleek, hygienic design impressed our reference customer.

Beyond the technical criteria and positive outcomes, the excellent service and seamless execution were key reasons for the customer to continue partnering with Sesotec.
