Metal Detection Steps Up

Significant innovations in metal detection came in the early 1980s with crystalcontrolled oscillators and automatic balance circuits. By the late 1980s, the first microprocessor-based metal detectors enabled automatic product learning and delivered digital information on the metal signals. Since then, there have been incremental improvements in detection performance.

Our White Paper describes the development of technologies in contaminant detection in the food industry and shows the progress metal detectors have made in terms of usability and detection accuracy in recent years.
