Premiere at IFFA 2025: Sesotec RAYCON X-ray systems with THiNK Technologies
Sesotec is presenting a new generation of X-ray inspection systems at IFFA 2025 in Frankfurt (Hall 12.0, Stand C18): The proven RAYCON family is now raised to a new level of performance with the new RAYCON D+ TX with innovative TDI detector and the integration of THiNK Technologies based on Artificial Intelligence.
Whether for the detection of metal particles, bone splinters or packaging defects - the RAYCON systems with THiNK Technologies are made for maximum product safety in modern food production.
THiNK Technologies: Artificial intelligence for intelligent decisions
THiNK stands for the further development of classic detection using adaptive algorithms. The technology not only analyzes grayscale changes, but also detects deviations from the ideal condition of a product.
THiNK opens up new possibilities, particularly in challenging applications such as bone detection in fresh meat or product anomalies:
- Impurities with low density (e.g. bone splinters, cartilage) become visible
- A wide variety of product properties can be recorded individually
- Anomalies that are almost invisible to conventional systems are detected
The highlight: the AI models are trained live directly in the customer's environment - without any interruption to production. The training is carried out by the customer themselves, anytime and anywhere. The result is an individual AI model tailored to the real application - flexible, efficient and independent.
RAYCON D+ TX: When hardware meets AI
The new RAYCON D+ TX X-ray inspection system is the most technologically advanced member of the RAYCON family. It combines the advantages of THiNK KI with a new, high-resolution TDI line detector that delivers significantly improved image quality:

- Better detection of the smallest foreign bodies
