C-SCAN GHF metal detectors are primarily used in the food industry mounted on conveyor belt, inclined slide or other product transport system. They detect all magnetic and nonmagnetic metals, (ferrous, non-ferrous and stainless steel) regardless of where the contaminant is within the product.

The single-layer, single-face ELS detector is used for examining individually packed products and bulk materials on a conveyor belt or a material chute, preferably with a low material height. It detects all magnetic and non-magnetic metal contaminations (steel, stainless steel, aluminium) – even if enclosed in the product. On detection of metal, a signal device and a separation system can be activated or a signal can be send to process controlling.

Enclosed-aperture tunnel metal detector, installed in bonded-type conveyor belt systems for applications requiring higher scanning sensitivity.

For the separation of ferrous contaminants plate magnets are installed in a continuous material flow above conveyor lines, in free fall, under chutes and slides, etc.

RAYCON Bulk product sorting system detects all contaminants that due to their density, chemical composition, or mechanical dimensions absorb X-radiation to greater degree than the surrounding bulk product. For example, metal, glass, ceramics, and stone contaminants in food bulk material and also some types of plastics (e.g. PVC, rubber).

UNICON metal detection systems detect all ferrous and non-ferrous metals (steel, stainless steel, aluminium etc), even those which may be contained in the product. It is used for inspecting packaged and unpackaged items. The modular design concept provides flexible solutions which can be precisely tailored to the needs of different products and production environments. Application-specific reject options (declining conveyor, retracting belt etc) can be supplied. UNICON-D range is designed for applications in dry areas; UNICON-W is designed for wet, more hostile environments.

The VARICON metal detection system detects all metal contaminants (steel, special steel, aluminium, ...) – also metal contaminants that are enclosed in the product. It is used for the inspection of packed and unpacked piece goods. The VARICON-D series is designed for dry-area applications, the VARICON-W series for wet-area applications.

The VARICON+ metal detection system detects all metal contaminants (ferrous, non-ferrous and stainless steel) – even when enclosed in the product. Designed for a wide range of packaged and unpackaged products. The VARICON+D series is designed for dry areas, the VARICON+W series for more hostile environments. VARICON+ systems are equipped with the GENIUS+ Control Unit and either a GLS or a C-SCAN GHF search head.
